Questions & Answers
How would you describe your style of art?
I primarily work as an illustrator. I like to use a lot of detailed lines and striking colors to portray my images, and I see my art as a snapshot that tells a much larger story.
What do you want the world to know about you as an artist?
I am a poet as well as an artist. The more I create the less I use my words for poetry and more I write poems with my images. I would like to get to the point where people see my artwork and can find the poetry in a still image.
Do you draw inspiration from other elements of culture (ie: music, dance, etc)
New Orleans is the most inspirational city in the world. I don't have to look far before I am inspired by where I call home.
