Inspired by the nature and symbolism associated with Louisiana, my signature collection focuses on capturing the unique proportion, texture, and poetry of our magnificent Live Oaks. Each one carries history in its soul, expressing Louisiana’s beauty, strength, and resilience perhaps more eloquently than the fleur de lis.
This oak tree pendant is a statement piece, not just because of its size, but because its generous dimensions gave me such a broad canvas on which to really develop the texture of the bark and a surfeit of lush foliage. It's paired with a handcrafted maille-inspired figure 8 chain embellished with malachite and smoky quartz.
The malachite evokes the cooling shade of this tree.
