I get my inspiration from my time spent outdoors, which has become much more frequent now that I have retired to Bay St Louis, MS, a scenic beachfront town along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. My love of nature comes from childhood memories of exploring the bayous and waterways surrounding my hometown of New Orleans. My love of nature has inspired me to pick up a camera and capture the splendor and beauty of living in a coastal community on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I am a landscape photographer who works with seascapes, bayou scenes, beach scenes, marsh scenes, and wildlife. I enjoy working with light in the early morning and sunset.
My photographic talent has won many accolades. I won second place in an exhibit by the Hancock County Arts Commission in 2019. I was a featured artist in the Bay Saint Louis Shoofly, a local community web site. I have been a recipient of a Mississippi Art Commission grant. My work has been exhibited at the Gallery 220 on Main St in Bay St Louis, MS and at the Studio Waveland Art Gallery in Waveland, MS.
