Inspired by the nature and symbolism associated with Louisiana, my signature collection focuses on capturing the unique proportion, texture, and poetry of our magnificent Live Oaks. Each one carries history in its soul, expressing Louisiana’s beauty, strength, and resilience perhaps more eloquently than the fleur de lis.
This oak tree pendant is a statement piece, not just because of its size, but because its generous dimensions gave me such a broad canvas on which to really develop the texture of the bark. It's appropriately accompanied by a beautifully draping 22 inch double sterling silver chain.
The variegated shades of microfaceted shaded tourmaline beads bring to mind the way light filters through the leaves.
Believed to bring calm, tourmaline is associated with dispelling fear, negativity and grief.
