This photo was taken on my Canon AE-1 Program using Kodak Pro Image 100 35mm film. The film was developed and scanned by yours truly. This is a square print.
My name is Rhett, and I am a photographer specializing in film, infrared, and conceptual fine art photography. My art is a blend of the surreal and the day-to-day, a junction where dreams and reality walk hand-in-hand. My aim in photography is to find wonder and strangeness in the mundane and forgotten. I want my photographs to be an escape, for both myself and for those who view them. In an effort to further my craft, I recently started developing and scanning my own 35mm and medium format film, a process that is still evolving. My goal is to begin producing even more conceptual, surrealist photography and push myself as an artist. I am also a father of four, a husband, an educator, and an aspiring writer.
My photos have been featured in several journals and magazines, including Allegory Ridge, Abstract Magazine, deLuge Journal, Dream Pop Press, Bracken, and Aji Magazine. My Instagram handle is @framedfox. If you see any photographs there you would like to purchase, let me know, and I'll add them to my listings.
