Arlyn Jimenez

Artist + Arlyn Jimenez

Originally from Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, I began working with recycled materials and creating art at a young age. I made my way to New Orleans ten years ago, and set up shop in the Lower Garden District. These days, I can be found building everything from fine custom gates, sculptures, and furniture. Infused with a carefree Caribbean feel, I try to make it as if my  work seemingly defies gravity, combining sleek minimalism with natural materials.
