I am a transplant from Oklahoma City, living and working out of my studio in the Marigny.
Through my layered paintings, I am searching to create physical depth, space and movement by creating vibrant one of a kind original works of art that challenge the traditional perspective of painting. I intend to make art that connects us not only to the human experience, but also to what lies beyond our sight. Color, texture, and space are very important aspects of my work in order for each painting to have a very profound and compelling presence. My layered paintings combine elements of traditional figurative and portraiture painting infused with abstract foundations.
Through this relationship of colors, texture and space, each painting develops into a unique expression.
