I am a native of SWLA. I hold an art degree from McNeese State University, with a concentration in printmaking- but in the years since I've shifted to watercolor painting. Most of my work is whimsical; employing bold, saturated colors and repeated themes of nature and fairytales. My work often features a variety of pop culture figures from movies, books, and television- especially from the 80's and 90's. My husband, artist Danny Allain, and I both work from home, making art everyday while homeschooling our daughter. My work can be found online under the moniker "The Inkling Girl".
