Describe your art in three words.
Moody, atmospheric, painterly.
What do you love the most about creating art in your community? What particular part of your immediate environment, in your neighborhood specifically influences your work?
New Orleans is a painter's paradise. The landscape, nature, and architecture work together to create a place that feels like no other. Also, New Orleans is a place so historically steeped in creativity and expression, it is impossible for me not to respond. I am constantly inspired by the shapes, colors, and feelings of my local environment.
Where can we find you when you are not creating art?
Watching the water and clouds pass at Bayou st. John, picnicking in City Park, or gardening in my little back yard.
What is your favorite time of day/day of the week/month of the year?
Just after the sun goes down.
Feel free to get in touch to view artwork in person, either at my studio in Mid-City or Degas Gallery on Julia Street.
Works listed online may be available to be viewed at Where y’Art Works Gallery by appointment - firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com for inquiries.
