I was born and raised in Central Louisiana. As a child, my passion for painting first stemmed from my grandmother, Frances Moreau, when we took chinaware painting lessons together.
I went on to earn a BFA in Graphic Design at Louisiana College in 2005. After several years of working with no creative freedom, I took a leap and left my job to pursue my passion and paint full time.
Louisiana is my first muse and also the title of my first solo show in June 2016, Louisiana: My Muse. I went on to display my work at a second solo show in 2020 called “Birds, Beasts and Byways.” My works continue to depict Louisiana motifs such as marsh birds, bayou waterscapes and coastal life. I was voted "Cenla's Best Artist" 4 years in a row in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. I was also featured in an episode of Art Rocks on LPB, a show about Louisiana artists and musicians.
I also enjoy painting large scale murals in and around the state, most currently working with Drew Brees for his family entertainment venues called Surge. I am also an active member of The Arts Council of Avoyelles.
I now reside in Effie, Louisiana with my supportive husband and 4 children. My studio is located in the cultural arts district at River Oaks Square Arts Center in Alexandria, Louisiana.
