Movement is important... who wants to be stuck in the same place without progression?
Artist + RANNIE HOWARD
Follow this artistI was born in New Orleans, but relocated after Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and have lived in various cities and states.
I have always enjoyed painting and drawing since I've learned how to write. I paint things based on my surroundings, conversations I've overheard, or just things that stood out during my day. I'm very minimal when it comes to tools. I only use a brush and a palette knife to create most of my work. Abstract art is so interesting to me because it creates conversations and it allows you to use your imagination! My art work has been exhibited in a few group shows in New Orleans as well as Los Angeles, as well as on the drama series "Queen Sugar" on Oprah Winfrey Network.
Rannie currently lives in Los Angeles, CA.
