**In Line** is part of *Ordinary Systems*, a series exploring the subtle ways contemporary life shapes human behavior through invisible structures of influence, conformity, and control.
A group of figures waits at a counter, participating in a familiar ritual of everyday life. Their identities are softened, their gestures restrained, and their purpose remains uncertain. No one appears to question the arrangement. They simply wait.
The painting considers how easily we surrender our individuality to systems we rarely see or examine—from social expectations and institutional routines to the increasingly invisible influence of algorithms and technology. The figures are neither resisting nor necessarily consenting. They are simply participating.
*In Line* asks a quiet question: **When does following the order of things become a surrender of our own agency?**
