love working big. I love creating paintings that have a positive, emotional impact on the viewer and help create a space of connection.
This particular painting, like most of my creations, was inspired by a walk in City Park. As I strolled around the art museum and the botanical garden, I soaked in the beauty of our beloved New Orleans. When I saw the water lilies, I felt compelled to translate what I was seeing and feeling onto canvas. I chose a huge canvas—this painting measures 36x98 inches. My hope is that it will transport people to the same place of beauty and presence that I connected to.
